Thelma was the daughter of the late Viola Williams Davidson and the late Charles Butler Davidson, born in Wellford, SC on 07/18/1920.

In addition to her parents and husband, Carl of 56 years, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Ramona Mitchell; a son, Charles Wesley Mitchell; a brother, Clarence Edward Davidson; a grandson, Gerald Robinson, II; and a great-grandson, Joshua Blake.

Thelma worked at Saco Lowell for 28 years but she found great joy in her love for the Lord, family, her many friends, flowers, hats and traveling.

She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Wanda Mitchell Gahm (Philip) of Virginia, and Carleen Mitchell Robinson (Gerald) of Liberty; four grandchildren, Angela R. Blake, Charles S. Mitchell, Keely G. Ricks, and Travis P. Gahm; also 8 great-grandchildren, Michael, Alexandra and Nicholas Blake, Summer Mitchell, Jake and Maya Turner, and Aspen and James Mitchell; and one great-great-grandchild, Charlotte Mitchell.

Thelma loved her church family at Easley Church of God where she was an active member since 1948. She served in numerous capacities such as singing in the choir, teaching Sunday School and coordinating the Young at Heart Club, but first and foremost, she prayed with hundreds of people in their time of need.

Known for her bright smile and delightful sense of humor, Thelma left her sweet memory in the hearts of many.
