Glenn Allen Nasworthy, 83, of Ridge Road, Easley, SC, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 2, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Jacksonville, FL, he was the son of the late John Thomas Nasworthy and Margaret Nicolas Nasworthy.

Mr. Nasworthy was a 1953 graduate of Winter Park High School, Winter Park, FL, and a 1957 graduate of Clemson College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Management. He retired from Thomasville Furniture as a Purchasing Director. He was a proud supporter of Clemson University where he was in the first Industrial Management graduating class, the first president of the Industrial Management Society, and a member of the Class of 1957 Alumni Association. He enjoyed model trains and was an active member of the Central Railway Model and Historical Association. Glenn also had a passion for exercising, heading to the gym three days a week until his recent illness. He was a Mason and proudly served his country in the US Army. He was a dedicated member of Easley First United Methodist Church where he was Treasurer and member of the Mount Olivet Sunday School Class.

Surviving are his loving wife of 61 years, Faye Pepper Nasworthy; a daughter, Elizabeth Nasworthy Crocker and husband, Gene Crocker, Jr. of Chapin, SC; grandchildren, Meredith Williams and husband, Allen, of Easley, John T. Crocker and wife, Alexandra, of Dallas, TX; and a great granddaughter, Clara Elizabeth Williams, of Easley.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, from 1:00 PM until 2:15 PM in the fellowship hall of Easley First United Methodist Church with a memorial service to follow at 2:30 PM in the church sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Easley First United Methodist Church, 115 W. 1st Avenue, Easley, SC 29640 or to The Central Railway Model and Historical Association, 108 Werner Street, Central, SC 29630.

The family will be at the home.
