Known as Memama, she is remembered for her love for her family, especially for her delight to be with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Vickery, who was a faithful member of the Clemson First Baptist Church and taught children's Sunday School, lived in Clemson from 1946 until moving to Greenville in 2012. Mrs. Vickery belonged to the Clemson Women's Club, the Clemson Garden Club, several bridge clubs, Keenagers, and golf groups. Her love of sports was very evident as she seldom missed a Clemson football, basketball or baseball game.

Mrs. Vickery is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Cloaninger (Bob) of Greenville and a son, Bob Vickery (Cile) of Easley. Surviving are four grandchildren, Amy Cloaninger Bonnette (Mike) of Lynchburg, VA, Matt Cloaninger of Charleston, SC, Carrie Vickery Meisenheimer (Mike) of Clemson and Beth Ann Vickery Millsaps (Josh) of Seneca and five great-grandchildren: Carson and Laura Bonnette and Copeland, Anna Cile, and Riggs Meisenheimer.
