I miss you Carl. You made me a better person. I first met you in 1995 when you told me I should get into powerlifting. I knew I wouldn't be great, but you told me to keep fighting. I remember when I won my 123 category in deadlifting and got my first 300. That record still stands. Thank you Carl.

Deepest condolences to the family of Carl Summers from the Fordyce, Arkansas High School Class of 1964. Although Carl only went through the sixth grade with us before moving, we all remember him fondly and are very sad to learn of his passing. We regret that we were unable to stay in touch with him. Rest in peace our friend.
