Tribute & Message From The Family

Anne Baker
Easley, SC

Mrs. Anne Baker, 93, of Easley, wife of the late Robert Harold Baker, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2019.

Mrs. Baker was born in Montreal, Canada. She retired from General Motors in New York City and was a member of Pendleton Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed golf, traveling both locally and internationally, animals, and history. Anne shined her positive outlook and gentle disposition on all she met. Anne and Robert moved from New York to Boscobel, in Pendleton, in the 1980's. Anne then made The Willows home in 2017.

She is survived by her niece, Candace A Blodgett of New Mexico, step-daughter by Robert Baker, Elizabeth Johnson, of Washington, DC and nieces and nephews located in Arizona, California and North Dakota.

Condolences may be expressed online at or in person at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley, which is assisting the family.

Anne was a great friend at Boscobel for many years. We loved our times together golfing and having happy hour and our many meals together. She was always an inspiration, happy and so positive. We will miss you, Anne.

Ann had a wonderful smile and a great laugh. It was fun to play golf with her and hear her funny quips. She loved her little golf cart and driving thru puddles. I bought her cart from her and I think of her every time I drive it. She was a special lady who will be missed.

We will miss Anne. Her bright smile and sunny yellow sweater often greeted me as I visited my mother at The Willows. She was a ray of sunshine to all who entered.

We loved Mrs. Anne. She was a bright light at The Willows of Easley. She spoke to anyone and always had positive things to say. She was one of the first people to talk to my mother when my mother moved to The Willows. Anne will surely be missed. Prayers for peace and comfort for her family during this time. Love & Blessings, Rick & Lori Buchhop
