Condolence & Memory Journal

I lost my best friend in you, it's so hard to accept and still so unbelievable. I thought we'd grow old together and gripe about our aches and pains! I miss you and I know you know I do. When I'm holding my grandson, I look up and say I hope you're watching this! I miss our talks, miss telling you I love you. I'll never get over this, but I'll learn to live with it. Every dragonfly will be a reminder of you! I'll catch up with you one day and we'll be besties again. Love you sweety

First an foremost Sandi we've only known you and Scott for such a brief time but it matters not. This may sound odd to some but if they think about it is so true and wonderful. I am so happy for you that you have already traveled that difficult path that we all have to go down. In the same breathe I feel such sympathy and sorrow for Scott, your kids and grandchildren. You were such a beautiful and nice person. I'm not even going to try an express what your presence and your departure will have on anyone that knew you. Godspeed sweetlady, friend, wife, mother and grandmother. I won't say good bye but I'll just say we'll see you later, Love you Jeannie and Tommy Bowen

I only had the privilege of working with Sandi for a short time at the Crowne Plaza. In that time, her huge heart and sassy personality made it easy for us to become fast friends. She touched a lot of lives over her time there and will always be remembered with a smile and laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with Scott, and the girls. She loved you all so deeply. God Bless.

Sandi had a wonderful spirit. We have been friends since 1993 and just to give you an idea of what a special person she was - I opened a catering business in 1996. Sandi was living in Georgia at the time and the business was in Greenville, SC. She drove from Georgia 5 days a week for over 4 months to help me get that business off the ground. She would only allow me to cover her gas (after much argument) and her meals. She will be forever remembered in my household as "Sandi with Sasha" which is what my then 3 year old son tagged her to keep my Sandi friends straight. Sasha was her chow. Sandi I truly loved you and will miss you dearly. Taylor will keep moving forward and continue to make you proud. MooMoo, Scott, Taylor and Kaitlyn will look after each other knowing you are forever in their hearts.
